AIG/Lincoln was established in 1997 as a strategic partnership between AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corporation, New York, a subsidiary of AIG - American International Group, New York, and Lincoln Property Company, Dallas.

The company was formed to acquire, develop and manage real estate properties internationally using the extensive worldwide network of AIG Global Real Estate and Lincoln Property Company and their corporate and real estate clients.

Initially with a strong focus on the emerging markets of Central & Eastern Europe , it has in the meantime expanded to numerous countries in Western and Central & Eastern Europe Currently subsidiaries of AIG/Lincoln are established and successfully active in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Spain and Russia.

AIG/Lincoln takes a proactive, full-service approach to each project. All development related decisions, including design, permitting, construction, financing, accounting, funding leasing, marketing and other are made by local expert teams of each country. An international service team in company’s European headquarters provides support and control functions to each country operations.

AIG/Lincoln is fully committed to each property it develops. The company is the principal owner of each development site. Each asset is developed, leased and managed based on a comprehensive plan established by AIG/Lincoln’s annual reviews, with regular financial and other reports providing clear and current information to facilitate ongoing decision-making and property and asset management.

With its network of regional offices, AIG/Lincoln can also provide innovative cross-border solutions, working closely with its clients to deliver comprehensive solutions to support their respective European investment strategies.

Over the past decade AIG/Lincoln has developed and current under development over 2.2 million square meters of real estate.

In fall of 2004, AIG/Lincoln extended its range of products to include the development of retail projects on a Pan-European basis as well as Built-to-Suit projects
